The Provosts Council is governed by a four-person Executive Committee, comprised of the chair, the chair-elect, the immediate past chair, and one at-large member. The chair of the Executive Committee serves for one year, with a three-year service tenure, and is nominated and elected by the Council. The Executive Committee meets at least monthly with the Alliance's executive director to discuss ongoing business and programming initiatives.
